Busiate is a typical Sicilian artisanal pasta, crafted in Resuttano, in the heart of the island’s inland. The dough is prepared using 100% Sicilian wheat and pure water from the Madonie Natural Park, preserving all the original organoleptic properties of the raw ingredients.
Its firm texture and characteristically rough surface make this pasta perfect for capturing sauces, beautifully enhancing everything from classic tomato sauce and meat ragù to traditional Pesto alla Trapanese.
The Sicilian ancient grains used for this pasta are rustic varieties cultivated in a natural and sustainable way. Naturally rich in nutrients and lower in gluten, they contain a higher percentage of lignans—natural compounds that contribute to overall well-being.
